This position pays by the hour and will vary from $30 – $40 per hour depending on the qualifications, and experience of the applicant. Training will be provided and no experience is required.

The primary responsibilities of the pump truck operator is to safely drive and operate a 40-meter concrete pump truck. Daily tasks include minor maintenance such as greasing and visual inspections, driving to various job sites, setting up the truck for placement operations, working with the contractor to place the concrete, cleaning the pump truck of concrete, and proceeding to the next job.

Other responsibilities include notifying the appropriate person when more involved maintenance is required such as check engine lights, inform of problems experienced while pumping concrete, cleaning the pump truck body, keeping dispatch informed of scheduling delays, and occasionally removing hardened concrete.

The ideal applicant will be mechanically minded and have some experience in the concrete industry or construction industry. Timeliness and communication skills are a very important requirement for this job as it will be a largely autonomous position. Driving background checks will be conducted and the applicant must be able to pass a DOT Drug screening.

Expected weekly hours will be 40+ with overtime over 40 hours. This position will be weather dependent with additional work options available if desired.

• 21 years of age

• Class B CDL (A Preferred)

• Pass a drug test

• Maintain a set schedule

• Fluency in English
